  4. I appreciate a fellow co-worker for thinking of me and bringing me a home packed lunch. It was so kind of her to think of me.

  5. A very easy way to show a kindness to the folks who may stop for a meal in the city before commuting home on Metra. I find that there is always a hungry homeless person who will really appreciate your left overs from your meal at the entrance to Union Station. I ask the server to also pack the breadbasket and some plastic utensils to fill out the meal and make it easier for the recipient. If you happen to stop for take out on the way home and have a few extra dollars to spend, you can also order an extra meal to pass out on your way by.

  6. I travel an hour each way to work. This week, 2 days in a row, fellow drivers showed me a kindness. In an intersection that is fairly difficult to get across, they actually stopped and blocked traffic to allow me to enter. Unexpect road kindness instead of road rage!
